American Renewable Technologies, Inc. has been testing with many different classes of plastic trying to develop high performance Jet fuel, (Jet a-1) from plastic. Samples have been produced and sent to be certified. Also samples of diesel fuel from plastic have been produced.
Some plastics convert 55 to 60% to jet fuels. Other 30 to 40% are high performance diesel fuels.
